”Trefle”Cord for officers colbacks and shakos

For chasseurs only pompons and “raquettes”, NO CORD (but there are exceptions) on colbacks.
For others a trefle cord join right and left.
In silver or gold.
Thin fringes for lieutenant and captain, thick torsades (bullions) for chef d’escadron, colonel and general.

Colback are specific to elite companies of hussar and chasseur a cheval de la garde.
